Message from Organising President

I welcome you all my celebrated fellow voyagers of neurosurgery to join us for an educational and cultural commemoration to the vibrant metropolis of Mumbai. On behalf of the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Academy for Advancing Neurosurgery we welcome you all to the grand festivity of The ACNS 2026 to be held from 31st July to 3rd August 2026. The meeting will be held at the St. Regis Hotel which lies in the heart of the city with stunning views of the Arabian Sea and the city’s skyline.

The celebrations will kick off with a pre-conference surgical teaching course. This will be followed by 2 days of dedicated discourses and debates covering all aspects of neurosurgery from the world leaders in the field. The highlight will be 3D neuroanatomy sessions, 3D surgical video sessions and virtual reality sessions. The quintessential event will be addresses by the crème de la crème of neurosurgery. The evenings will be filled with a mix of traditional and contemporary social and cultural events and for the “night – owls” a vivid night life to explore

The theme of the meeting will be “Philosopy, Technique and Technology of Neurosurgery”. Neurosurgeons are driven by a passion to excel surgically, to decipher the mystery of the diseases we treat and to train others to continue their legacy. We all have an innate naïve fascination to try new technological gadgets. The focus of our neurosurgical life is the patient and we all strive for their welfare and benefit.

“Excellence is a continuous process and not an accident” – A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

The meeting promises to amalgamate thought, skill and gadgetry towards the ultimate well-being of the patient. Join us in this academic banter with open minds and hearts and above all a feeling of togetherness and affectionate camaraderie. Let us clink our glasses and dance and memorialize our meeting. Mumbai is a great cosmopolitan city. Her innate hospitality will offer the Best taste of Indian Culture. Her avowed Cosmopolitanism will not allow you to miss home. You will have enough Food for Thought and vice versa. You are invited for a rare treat rich in Academic, Cultural and Social Flavor.
